SUCH FUN! Fill this adorable jar with lots of things! The small heart stamp images comes in this stamp set called "Jar of Love." I cut a reverse MASK: stamp the jar onto the sticky edge of a Post-It note. Cut out the jar. Use the "space" where the jar image was removed to place around your stamped jar image. This lets you stamp the hearts and MASKS them from beyond the edge of the jar. Keep the masks in your stamp case for future use.
The jar lid is stamped and then die cut so I could dimensionalize it.
This JAR stamp set in the new Stampin' Up! catalog really caught my eye!! I, personally, can never have too many flowers! Be sure to notice that the TWO STEP BUNDLES have tiny TABS on the stamp images and framelit dies. They are guides to lining up the images quickly!! SO VERY HANDY, but they are tiny and you could miss them if you didn't know!
Start building your floral arrangement from the background forward. End by placing the small elements into any empty spaces or over any "mistakes." FUN-FUN-FUN!! Come back for my next post with a different JAR idea!
This is such an adorable idea! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription from Stampin' Up! It arrives in your mailbox each month with a surprise creative project all prepped and ready for assembly - it's like a "demonstrator in a box!"
I'm back online after relocating to the small town of Godfrey, IL near our new grandbaby!! We will be snowbirds. We live in half of a duplex in a homeowner's association...that means NO LAWN MOWING for us!! I have a tiny bit of flower gardening space to dabble with if I choose.
This is the back of our home with a walk-out basement. We have a gorgeous view of a hilly, wooded golf course. I love all the birds! The neighbor has 3 VERY active hummingbird feeders which are quite entertaining! Hummers are tenacious and the only birds that can fly backwards!
We are beginning to feel settled with medicinal chocolate in the refrig!
Here is my bare, echoing office....impatiently waiting for my new U-shaped desk to arrive. My hubby will need to assemble it. He has been the "BESTEST" husband - hanging hooks, setting up and assembling a variety of necessities without a single complaint!!
Some of you have asked about Maxie. HE did so well on his 17 hour drive north and first motel stay!! Here he is in the motel, VERY HAPPY to find his precious "Mr. Squirrel" came along too!
AND here is the reason for our summer relocation - LILY, our first grandchild!! At 8 weeks she loves her bath time!! She has changed so much and is starting to coo and smile! She is such a JOY to us!!
FIFTY-THREE images come in the Thoughtful Banners BUNDLE, which is paired with it's coordinating Duet Banner Punch! Create lots of sentiments and phrases! This stamp set also coordinates with the NEW Classic Label Punch! Punching sure beats "fussy cutting!!!"
This FUN paper is the NEW "Playful Palette" 6X6" Designer Series Paper STACK. I LOVE STACKS!!! I had a little strip left over, so used it inside the card for a splash of color!
Today's guest creator is my friend and team member, Michelle Miller, from Rockford, IL. She used the NEW "Moroccan Nights" Stamp Set of 6 images on her card, paired with the NEW In Color, Sweet Sugarplum! Lovely results!
The detail of the image is so intriguing! As newlyweds, my Naval Officer hubby and I lived in Spain...many years ago. We ferried across the Straits of Gibraltar several times to visit Morocco!! The colorful intricate tile work fascinated me! Thanks for sharing, Michelle!
